Points when travelling in the world of AuroraCab:
Country of Rafton
Native language: Raftonish, Similar to Italian but different structure.
There is a very strict customs and immigration policy in force, and
they don't take kindly to infringements. Apart from that, if you like
art culture and high living this is the country for you.
Republic of Soyoshi
Native language: Soyoshianese, a kind of mix of Japanese &
Cantonese.
Want the latest in electronics? then Soyoshi is for you. They have
managed some of the greatest technological breakthroughs, for example;
an easily programmable VCR.
Country of Pasmore
Native language: Pasmorian, same as American English.
Have a design you want to get off the ground? Need the best medical
treatment? Head to Pasmore and you'll be golden, Pasmore has pioneered
more types of engineering and medical procedures than anywhere else.
Do not however mention the city of Metcon, it is not something the
Citizens of Pasmore like to discuss as many people lost loved ones...it
is part of their history they prefer to remember but never talk about.
Angaston Republic
Native Language: Angastonian a derivative of Pasmorian, same as
British/Australian English
Feel that you don't fit in other countries? then come to Angaston,
every citizen has differing backgrounds and a family history eventually
traces to another country. There are no "native" Angastonians
only a differing mix of all kinds of people. Want to make a deal?
Business is the byword of Angaston.
Sarllive
Native Language: Sarllivan, derivative of Pasmorian like Angastonian,
same as New Zealand English
Like solitude, nature and the environment? Sarllive is for you, with
expanses of untouched wilderness and scenic beauty its ideal if civilisation
gets you down. Though it's citizens may seem wary of strangers they
are friendly.
Siray & Ranjaran Cluster
Siray is mostly a sanctuary for animals and for the most part uninhabited
except for rangers. Ranjaran is a set of volcanic islands which is
too unstable to allow any long term settlement, mostly used for research.
Country of Lasal
Native Language: Lasalic, similar to Greek
Interested in Archaeology? Anthropology? Philosophy? well Lasal has
the the lot. Many remains of ancient cities have been found here,
many artifacts and recordings of a historical nature are displayed
in the large number of museums. The history of each country originates
from Lasal if you go back far enough.
Jeveros
Native Language: Jeverosian, similar to Spanish.
Need to relax, want to find fun and good times? Jeveros is your holiday
destination, there's something for everyone, rainforest retreats,
beach hotels, mountain hideaways its all there. Jeveros's main industries
are leisure, tourism and hospitality. A very friendly country but
fiercly protective of itself as well and will not tolerate any unwanted
interference in it's affairs as Jeveros demonstrated in the Continent
wars.
The B.I.D
Native Language: Eshkian, similar to Russian
The Banded Ilygo Districts were formed after the continent wars and
while things are settled now .....they weren't always....a rather
upset past. Despite these problems, this country has vast natural
resourses and it's citizens enjoy a good standard of living. Mass
production is the word of the day in the B.I.D. and has been for about
300 years. Led by a ruling council
The Koutecs
Native Language: North Koutecs; Gazaran, similar to German.
Native Language: South Koutecs; Posonish, same as French.
The Koutecs are a group of countries which are so closely related
you could almost think of it as one Country, only minor differences
in each set them apart and for the most part borders are non-existant.
What are the Koutecs famous for? Architecture, cooking and the creative
arts. Unlike Rafton, which are more appreciative of the arts, fine
wines and good food, The Koutecs are more the creators of such things.
Empire of Caldir
Native Language: Caldirian, a strange language not related to any
on Earth.
A rather strange country where exercise, martial arts and self defence
are more a way of life than just a past time. Its main industry is
basically the military and construction, there is a saying, "Caldir
Tough" which sprouted as a result of the reputation of their
workmanship. Despite being militaristic and heavily structured it
is a very peaceful nation with very little crime and a focus more
on defense. Initially you might think that the Caldirians are an unfriendly
lot but it's not so, they are reserved, quiet and respectful people
prefering to live in peace, rarely prone to violence despite a militaristic
culture. While visiting you may think Caldirians are not interested
in you, but they are, they are curious of foreigners and keep a protective
eye on visitors. Logic and Loyality is the order of the day in Caldir...creativeness
however is not.
Bedourie Kingdom
Native Language: Angastonian, originally Rallenic which was a mix
of old Irish and Gaelic.
The only nation in the Auroracab world with a Royal family, and one
that actually controls the country to a certain degree.
Bedourie is famous for agriculture, the creation of high quality spirits,
liquers and a smokeless cigarette style tobacco product.
They also make the best beer of course, enjoyed worldwide known as
Leichart Beer or less formally "liquid gold". It's citizens
are a rather sociable lot and have a reputation as being unaffected
by alcohol, even if you're a stranger they'll invite you to celebrate
with them..and they celebrate just about anything.
